I wanted to make a list here of things I see frequently come up you might like to know when you are looking for things to do around here.

When you put tags on posts
the tags are separated by spaces. so if you put in harry potter the tag will show up as harry, potter. Commas will not help-commas will be included as part of the tag. If you want to put multiple words in a tag you want to place quotation marks around them. In the tags field when you put in "harry potter" with quote marks around it harry potter now shows up as one clickable tag.

When you put a link to your website on your profile page
you want to include the html so that the link will be clickable. instead of putting in http://fantasyislove.com I put in < a href = http://fantasyislove.com > http://fantasyislove.com < / a > (without the spaces) so that now when you go to my profile page http://fantasyislove.com is clickable.

If you have a blog elsewhere: You can set up an RSS feed on your page on Fantasy Fanspace in the left column. It's the last of the little sections over there. You can also just repost your posts on the blog on your page and link to your blog elsewhere. The upside of doing this is that blogs posted on Fantasy Fanspace show up in the latest activity and in the blogs section on the main page-where as there is nothing alerting people to updates on your RSS feed on your page.

If you have other questions please ask them here, comment my page, or message me. I'm happy to help!

Thanks for the RSS tip. I've set it up to my blog.

I also noticed that the links need HTML...I wonder why they're not clickable like on most sites?

Thanks for the tips!! I'm definitely doing the RSS feed to my blog :)

Some people don't want people to be able to click out of their social networks easily. Leaving site = the bad.

I just know that a lot of people around here would like to promote their projects, and I like that. As long as no one is very spammy, and the promotions are for fantasy themed things and in appropriate places, it's all good.
