Soooo, who's seen it?

Robert and I haven't yet, when we get to the theatre the line is so long it's impossible (and we're fighting the fact that we work nights and HAVE to catch the matinee) but we're still showing up at the theatre trying.

Go ahead. Tell me how amazing it is, and how I'm missing out on everything. You know you want to.

It is amazing. You are missing out on everything. Imagine the Star Trek universe plunged into the Star Wars Original Trilogy and you'll be close. But I found it more enjoyable than Return of the Jedi and faster paced than A New Hope - in a good way!!!

If you see one movie this weekend, check this one out!

An apt description, Matthew. I hadn't thought about it that way!
I have never been a fan of the original series. I'm a huge Next Gen fan. But, this movie makes me want to see the original series and movies (I've seen a couple.). You guys MUST go see it and tell us what you think.

Yeah, it pretty much turns you into a Trekkie. Now we're watching episodes of all five Trek shows almost on a nightly basis! (We just bought the "Captain's Log Fan Collective" DVD set.)

The original tv show ran for one season, right? Then it was movies?

THREE SEASONS! And now, my Trekkie rage will subside.

Well, not only have we seen the movie now, but we've seen it twice! It was that freaking good! I loved Little Kirk. "Is there a problem officer?".

Everybody did such a great job with their characters. It was incredibly funny, but without being ridiculous. I just can't say enough about how awesome it was.

Loved it also, seen it once, hoping to get a chance to see again this weekend.
