5x04 The Little Prince
So tonight, we found out that it was Ben who has been hiring lawyers left and right. He's a litigious little bastard, but we all knew that, right? I thought it was cool how they threw in that little fake out with Claire's mom. Coming into the episode, I was convinced the lawyers were working for either Ben or Whidmore, but the bit with Claire's mom was enough to throw me ever so slightly off, so when the reveal happened, I was ready to be surprised. All good stuff, in my mind. Also, Young Rousseau is hot, especially knowing that she'll turn into Delenn from B5. Lucky Jin. Maybe he'll get to do the Nasty in the Pasty.

The bit with Claire's mom messed me up, too-I felt like it just HAD to be Ben. I love that as soon as Kate saw him her reaction was basically if Ben's around, and she has trouble in her life, Ben is automatically the cause. Too true.
Jin really is alive! I couldn't figure out how they could bring him back (not as one of those dead people on the island) because I was thinking he was outside the perimeter of the island and it was really messing me up that on teh previews they keep saying "Sun believes Jin is dead" but, of course, the blast blew him towards the island. Duh.
I don't know how they can live happily ever after, not after she's gone so dark that they play Ben music when she's on screen.

Yeah, they are totally turning Sun into a badass and she is supposed to be all sweetness and light. Sun and Jin just don't get to be happy. :( Maybe she'll be ok once she gets to be with him again though. After all, they were pretty much done when she got to the island and Jin went through an evolution of his own. Now maybe the island can fix the darkness in Sun. I hope so.

It certainly feels like things are coming together now. Ben HAD to pull the lawyer scam to draw Kate and her son to escape BACK to the island. And Jin HAD to be alive, lest Sun kill those she feels are responsible for his death.

Oh Benry. Even when you are doing the right thing you come off like an evil dick. I swear if I saw the actor on the street it would be hard not to pull a Hurley and turn myself over to the cops for murders I didn't commit to get away. Yeah, he just wants you to *think* it's only a part he plays on TV. I know the truth!

Have you ever noticed that the actor who plays Ben frequently is not a very nice man. I saw him on a Law & Order episode where he was a total child murderer and all creepy like the whole time. And I saw him somewhere else also all creepy.
I wonder if he gets alot of threats on the street? I mean it's not like he would "blend" in..
I looooooooooove that Jin is still alive and while I am also all confused all the time about 'where' in time what is happening, I am such an addict! Love this show!
