Favorite Artists:

Ansel Adams - I am a little obsessed with black and white prints though I am horrible with my composition (a little too impatient to learn when the automatic settings do so well

Van Gogh and really most artists Dutch. I spent a year in the Netherlands and come from a Dutch heritage so I'm a little taken with them right now.

I am also discovering all kinds of new artists all the time on etsy.com. I love to find new inspirations as I start out down this new road. :)

Favorite Writers/Books/Stories:

Terry Brooks, Jasper Fforde, Melanie Rawn (though I'm a tad cranky she won't finish the trilogy already!), David and Leigh Eddings, and heck a billion more.

Favorite Music/Musicians:

Josh Groban, Clousseau, Shakira, Leona Lewis, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and all those grunge guys (I'm a child of the 90's). I can't forget the Gin Blossoms whose greatest hits album has not left my car in weeks.. ahhh..

Thanks to iTunes suggestions I am always finding new bands as well - love it. Peter, Bjorn and John, Jack Johnson, the Decemberists and Colbie Caillet have all entered my world that way.

Favorite Movies:

Stardust, the Prestige, Equilibrium, Age of Innocence, Breakfast at Tiffany's, the Ghost and Mrs. Muir, the Harry Potter movies, Pride and Prejudice (not the Keira Knightley version, I hate her)... and many, many more..

Favorite Television Programs:

Heroes, Lost, Friends, Firefly, Eureka (just got hooked on this one).
