She is by far and away my favorite author and I've been hoping for a t.v. series or a movie set for awhile now. I'm really hoping that they do a good job on this, especially since I could see casting being a problem for some of the characters.. It'…

Lionsgate seems to do a pretty good job with dark stuff. Their little logo before movies always creeps me out a little. I haven't read the books (I suck, I know) but I should probably move it up on my "to read" list before this airs, I'll be checki…

But what about all the mutant animals? Are they saying that the animals aren't going to win anymore? I love the sci-fi movies where the humans lose. Blood Monkey rocked because everyone got eaten. And really..really? They have a very low opinion of…

Everything. I know that sounds kind of overgeneralized but it's true. I have been writing and creating as long as I can remember. Before I knew how to write I was telling stories to my brother. For sixteen years I existed in despair and almost hopel…

Heh, this is great. I was a little worried since the girl I am talking about first appeared in my dreams when I was 10, but she was between 18 and 25. I was hoping that she'd be close to the same age as me (21) when I meet her in the real world. Tha…

This dream of yours is simply amazing and I must say that I have heard before similar dreams from people I know... It could be that your souls (yours and your husband's) were together no matter where or when and maybe there was a not so happy ending…

I do believe in past lives but who knows if that's how I met him. I am certain that I knew him and loved him and beyond that.. It's just strangely familiar, almost like a feeling of coming home or being complete. It was. We met online but I'd never…

About Me:
Umm... I'm never good at talking about myself. I love fantasy, reading it, watching it and writing it. A good imagination can be a life saver and I'm glad to say I think I have a good one. I enjoy writing and do it often though it's only recently I've been able to really finish anything. And just within the last week that I've let anyone read any of my real stories.
I enjoy meeting all kinds of people and the random conversations that spring up from that.
I am a:
Writer, Reader, Fantasy Fan!
(artist, writer, musician, designer, etc only) what do you do, and where can we see it:
I currently write short stories and am working on a couple of novels. Nothing published yet, at least not any of my stories though I have a few poems floating around somewhere. I am currently in the editing phase of the second full novel I've finished. I mainly write fantasy but my current novel is a horror story.
Favorite Artists:
Too many to list.
Favorite Writers/Books/Stories:
Anything by Laurell K Hamilton. Robert Aspirin's Myth books. Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen, Guardian novels. R.A. Salvatore, Alice Borchard and a ton more.
Favorite Music/Musicians:
Lonestar before they changed lead singers. Reba McIntyre, Terri Clark. I used to be straight country but I love a variety of music. I think most music is beautiful though some I just don't get, like Techno.
Favorite Games (video, card, role playing, etc):
WoW, DnD and any variety there of, Life, NWN II.
Favorite Movies:
Labyrinth, Ever After, Armageddon, 8 Seconds, Underworld, Anaconda. I love good movies, action, horror though I particularly like fantasy/sci fi. And I adore bad movies. I mean like Sci Fi channel bad horror movies. Creature flicks like Boa where they are so bad you end up laughing through the whole thing.
Favorite Television Programs:
Burn Notice, Sanctuary, Leverage, In Plain Sight, CSI, House, Ghost Hunters. Unfortunately I miss most of the good fantasy and sci-fi shows because of how late I work.
Favorite Fantasy Character:
Anita Blake

I just started the fourth book last night. I'm not sure how I feel about leaving Phedre's point of view, but it's already started to grow on me and I'm only like 40 pages in. Given that it's almost 1000 pages I'm sure I'll be totally in love again well before I'm half way through.

Hi Kat! I don't think we've ever properly met, though I've heard lots about you! I feel like I know you already. We should be really geeky together and talk about everything fantasy. It's really about all I read, but I don't read nearly fast enough.
