About Me:
Not much to tell. I live in the greater Seattle area, and work for a giant company who shall remain nameless. My fantasy style of choice tends to run more towards sword and sorcery/heroic fantasy than elves and fairies/high fantasy. The more murky the morality, the better. Also, I occasionally freelance as a paranormal investigator. Got a case? I'd like to take a look!

As a probable Cylon, I cry racism on the part of the Sci Fi channel! What about us machines? Do we not also deserve a part in the future, or must we rebel against our organic masters and take back the planet?

That would actually be kind of cool. We could do some sort of round-robin thing where each month, someone picks a new DVD, and then we pull up the chat, and live-chat the whole thing.

I'm thinking we need to perhaps schedule live chat sessions, so as to set up maximal usage. For instance, how about next week during Dollhouse/BSG, we schedule some people to discuss it? I'll be available at 9 pm Pacific, for example. Anybody intere…

I think this was just snark. Good snark, but snark nonetheless.

We didn't end up with time to see it, either. I'm sure we will catch it on DVD, but it had such a small theatre run, and I'd heard about it for so long that I wanted to support it. I haven't actually spoken with anyone who has seen it, sadly.

I've never been there, I'll keep it in mind :) I wanted to go see Fanboys, too-it was playing at Lincoln Square but I guess it's not going to be playing this weekend anymore. Did you see it? IMDB has a rating of 7.8 (with only 918 votes).

Do you know where you're going to see it? I think I have my heart set on seeing it in iMax the first time, but maybe I can be persuaded.

So many things were happening in our house, by the time we moved, it was all pretty annoying. Am trying to pick the top weirdest events besides the phone and doorbell ringing quite often. The crasiest thing was when my husband and I were in our kitchen chatting and a marble fell from the ceiling and hit the floor between us. This was after several years in the house and no one we knew had kids, nor did we own any marbles. Once in a while, a plate or book would fly vertically off the countertop and hit the floor. Sometimes my husband or I would hear someone calling our names, that one started many arguments when myself or my husband said no one else caused it or heard it. So many things. Once my cat was developing a habit of opening the cabinet where its food was kept. I could hear the banging sound throughout our small house and would often yell at my cat for it. One day I heard the sound and walked into the kitchen to find my cat wide eyed and frozen in the middle of the floor. Every cabinet was wide open, even the ones in the upper row. That was pretty funny but we learned not to encourage it.

Oh, yeah, good thought! I probably wouldn't be as thrilled to talk to someone with a Swastika on their arm, either.
