Mousie - The Pied Piper Of Fantasy Fanspace.

Hi everyone,

I guess I'll treat this as an open letter, since I think all members can see it. I thought I'd tell the tale of how I came to be here on FF. I belong to another web community called Stumbleupon.com. It's for websurfing and sharing your finds with others with similar likes - with the additional tool bar added to your browser, which learns your preferences as you stumble cross the net, you rate the sites, photos, videos, etc that you surf to.

Anyway, one day I noticed that someone had peeked at my pages, so I decided to check that person's pages out as well. They happened to belong to Faith. She reviewed my pages favorably, then my friend Amy's pages, which tickled me to no end. I noticed one of the sites listed on Faith's page was a place called...heh, heh...you guessed it...Fantasy Fanspace. I clicked on the link and went "oh my.....".

Since then I've been on a mission. Advertise, networking, spreading the word...LOL, not matter what you call it, I've been a little social network butterfly...or in this case, the pied piper of Fantasy Fanspace. I've posted the URL in two MySpace groups I'm in. Amy's "Fantasy Art Fanatics" and Polaris's "Minotaurs, Broadswords, and Asteroids". I've sent out individual invites to authors and artists alike. Ted's already taken the bait, er, I mean joined (he and I have been friends for 25+ years and I was one of his first fans). I'm waiting to see if Christian Wingate and Ivy Dragonfire Art will join as well.

What's the deal? Dunno...but this place sparked my imagination. I like making friends, I like introducing one friend to another so they can be friends. I took Robert and Faith's idea and ran with it, shared it, and will see who will follow me back down the rabbit hole. Hee hee, I'm sure it will be quite a ride :D
