New toys!
So, my work at the call center yielded a $50 gift certificate of my choice. I chose to get one for Amazon.com as I always do. Last night Faith and I sat down to spend it. Here's a list of the things we decided to get:
1) Watchmen
2) Sandman Vol. 1
3) V for Vendetta (graphic novel)
4) 2 VC Andrews books that were missing from Faith's collection
5) books 4, 5, and 6 of Kushiel's Legacy
6) Dr Horrible
With a sale that was going on to get one book free that all cost us about $30 or so after the gift card. Not bad for 5 books and 3 graphic novels and a DVD.
Also we pre-ordered Jacqueline Carey's next two books, Santa Olivia, and Naamah's Kiss, and the Twilight DVD. I can't wait to get all my shiny new toys! Now I just need to find time to read them all!

I've got Once and Future King, A History of the Vikings, The Children of Hurin, Agent to the Stars, and The Blade Itself to finish before I can get new stuff, and that's just the purely recreational. I also need to finish up Experiments in Ethics by Kwame Anthony Appiah for a personal project. Damn, but I'm busy.

I love shiny new toys :) We get Watchmen TONIGHT.
It's sort of sad, but I think I love getting mail as much as I love getting your new toys specifically.
